Third Week of Lent: p.50-68

Third Week of Lent: p. 50-68
·      How can I find more balance from the pressures in my life?
·      During this difficult time requiring “social distancing”, how can I still stay more connected to others, especially those in need of contact?
·      How do I get through the hard times even now?
·      How do I find grace and gratitude as I ponder these thoughts?

Second Week of Lent - p. 29-49

Second Week of Lent: p. 29-49
  • How does the way you live reflect the idea that you are loved?
  • In a conversation with Jesus, what might you hear/say?
  • How can I better let “my little lights shine” where I live?
  • How can I live a more joy-filled life?
  • How did you find grace and gratitude as you pondered these thoughts?

First Week of Lent: p.9-28

·      How could I handle my time better?
·      What do I need to say yes/no to…what does God want me to do?
·      How can I live with the mystery of life more positively?
·      How do I live with constant change…or no change?
·      What can I learn from the present that is worth saving for the future?

Lent 2020 Introductory Week

The book we are sharing is called Finding God in the Mess. It is available through Loyola Press -www.loyolapress.com.

Some wonderings for this week:
  • How do you remain connected to the "source of life", particularly when life seems to be draining from you?
  • What do others...and God... see you offering to the world that you don't see in yourself?
  • How can you find grace and gratitude as you ponder these thoughts?

Welcome to the Grace and Gratitude Blog

Welcome to Sharing Grace and Gratitude!
For many years I have shared special thoughts with a small group of women around a chosen text. We met face-2-face in my home during Advent and Lent. Lives have become too busy for that to continue, so I am trying this way of sharing. I wish I could change the title, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do that. The title I would have chosen is built around a beautiful journal a close friend in Christ shared with me. I plan to include some thoughts from that journal as well.
Please know that only people I have invited to this blog will have the address.
